“라인, 이르면 이달 일본 암호화폐 거래소 인가 받는다”[coindesk KOREA]
LVC 거래소의 거래 대상에는 비트코인 등 암호화폐 외에도 라인의 자체 토큰 링크(Link)도 포함될 것으로 알려졌다. 한 관계자는 블룸버그에 “8천만 라인 이용자들이 암호화폐 매매를 할 수 있게 될 것”이라고 말했다. LVC는 라인 내 블록체인 사업을 담당하며, 2018년 12월 금융청에 암호화폐 거래소 신청서를 제출했다.

나비울리나 총재는 마지막으로 디지털 화폐의 도입을 검토하고 있는 중앙은행 연구원들에게 디지털 화폐만이 갖는 장점을 잘 살리는 것이 중요하다고 조언했다. 예를 들어 실시간 은행 결제(fast bank payment) 같은 방법과 비교해 CBDC가 어떤 면에서 비교우위를 갖는지 답할 수 있어야 한다.
